Mares and Fillies

Antigone (Bewholme Antigone, imp UK)

Antigone, nicknamed Annie has a dominant, yet super cuddly and sweet personality. She loves her scratches so much you can even scratch her in her ear and in her nostrils! As all of our other horses do, she simply adores her biscuits. In Australia, she has had a successful show career aswell as in the UK where we imported her from. She has an unusual blaze from her muzzle stretching to her forehead ending in a question mark shape .

Grace (Bodafon Grace, imp  UK)

Grace is a beautiful, shy yet protective mare. She is great mates with Antigone.  Grace, with Annie, were imported from the UK together where she had a successful show career, and has now commenced her show career in Australia.

Elsa is a wonderful mare who has a sweet nature, when she is at home.  However at shows she can be disagreeable, and those who knew her grandmother (Wishful Pearl) say she can be quite alot like her. She loves a scratch in her ear and under the chin. Her nickname is Auntie Elsa as she just loves foals. Elsa has a very successful show career with many champions including first place in her 4 years and over mare class and Champion Shire female at Sydney Royal Easter Show 2013, being beaten for Supreme by Cavalier.

Elouise is an 8 year old black brood mare. Her first foal was Max. She is a great mum, and has a huge milk supply, and doesn't even mind us kids trying her milk. She was the second Shire horse we bought. Elouise, nicknamed Ellie is not used as a show horse, but as a breeding mare. She has a lovely star-strip on her head. She can be very pushy as she is the head of the paddock in most cases.

Lilabet, so named in honour of the patron of the Shire Horse, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's childhood nickname.
Her dam is Bewholme Antigone, her sire is Lockley Topsman.  Lilibet is such a sweet and totally gorgeous filly, the princess of the paddock, and completely doted on by Annie and all the other mares!  Born ...Nov13.
